My name is Lindsay Fuori…

I am a designer who lives to transform spaces. I thrive in collaborative environments where storytelling and design thinking converge to create new and impactful experiences for audiences.

I believe in design that fosters empathy.

I see immense value in creating opportunities for strangers to connect. I believe interactions through story, design, and experience strengthen empathy and communication, resulting in overarching community growth.

I solve problems in surprising ways.

One of my main roles in a design process is that of Creative Problem Solver. I ask questions to identify the true source of the challenge. I understand the value of freeing a collaboration from fear or judgement, so I’m never afraid to share “bad ideas” to get a brainstorm started. I find incredible joy in pursuing the creative process in the company of collaborators.

I’m always looking for my next great challenge!

I was raised by two New Yorkers in Newtown, CT, a beautiful “small town” that prides itself on the artists, authors, and creatives who reside there. I was in high school when 20 children and 6 educators were killed in a shooting down the road at Sandy Hook Elementary School. It was in the aftermath of that tragedy that I saw how story could build empathy and aid in a community’s healing.

I moved to Boston to attend Boston University, College of Fine Arts. There I studied Scenic Design under James Noone, Jon Savage, and Cristina Todesco and earned my BFA. After graduating I stayed in Boston to assist Jim and work as a freelance designer. I found an incredible community of collaborators in the Boston Theatre scene.

In 2022 I made New York my home base, and never looked back. I thrive on collaborating with diverse talents to craft captivating experiences on stage. I have found an incredible community working Off-Broadway on new plays and musicals and look forward to the many exciting projects that lie ahead.
